Rearview Bluebird

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I got this shot in the last moments of sunset’s sidelight. I’m probably breaking some kind’ve rule about the subject facing, or almost facing but I can’t help but like this pose.

Dave, the rules are meant to be pushed around if not broken entirely. This flat works for me very nicely. For me, I’m loving the small blue arrow down this guy’s back… :+1: :+1:

The pose works just fine for me, Dave, and I like the perch. I do wish the sunlit side had a bit of detail in the brighter areas. As @Paul_Breitkreuz noted, that little blue arrow between the wings is really cool.

I think the pose and the perch are fine Dave. I may have given it a bit more room on the left (direction it is looking). Love that beautiful blue arrow down the back.
